I was part of the early wave who left Twitter before the rename. After a lengthy time of being a social media vagabond, I’ve decided to land here on Bluesky. It seems appropriate since my Spirit Insect is a butterfly! #BlueskyPhoto
I think they were too young to be aware of the RP and some even too young to be aware of the details of the Harper government.
Yup and it’s surprising how many people fall for their propaganda. Too many Canadians are emotionally gullible.
Interviewing some guests is like talking to a toddler. Many know how that tests one’s patience and sometimes you just have to put your toddler to bed and be done with it. Eventually a toddler grows out of it and learns how to be a reasonable. I’m not so sure about some of some of Cochrane’s guests.

Finally, an adult rooted in experience is leading our country. Presenting a realistic and ambitious path forward will be a hard pill to swallow for the idealists and ignorant.
I like how his exasperation sometimes breaks through his journalistic professionalism for brief moments. Just enough to highlight the absurdity of his guest.
No, it seems they don’t understand. Too many people are living in echo chamber delusions and have forgotten (or not yet experienced) how the real world works. It takes dull, consistent and practical work to build. Wishes, dreams, arguments, screams and demands do nothing and only get in the way.
I know choices are hard but if we lose our economic sovereignty, we will lose all our climate, social and charter choices. A reduced climate action is still better than the climate destruction that would happen if we become dominated and controlled.

Tom Hanks explains to Stephen Colbert why he masks on the subway:

"I'm doing a play right now so I cannot get sick... I've had COVID enough in my life, I don't need to do that again. So I'm wearing this for health reasons."

Thank you Tom! Masks are still a key part of public health.

There are few lessons to be learned here:

- Consider who the source is πŸ€₯

- Don’t count chickens before they hatch 🐣

- Never underestimate the #ForeverCanadian movement πŸ’ͺ

Alberta tax dollars going east to pay for jobs in other provinces. Again.
I'm in Burlington, Ontario, today.

Popped by a neighborhood Shopper's to get my COVID-19 shot.

Administered by an Ontarian. Paid for by the Alberta government.

In Edmonton, the shot would have cost me $100 and I'd have had to wait weeks.

Make this make sense.
Yes, all true and that’s exactly why I’m more strongly Liberal day after day.
He’s my Premier and that makes me cry. But my former premier was Jason Kenney, now replaced by Danielle Smith. It’s been a long, dark road. How I yearn for a Wab Kinew, David Eby or a Susan Holt.
Exactly. Who still supports not only him, but his leadership and his party? It’s cuckoo like coco puffs.
Because as much as the collective Canadians say they are tired of the posturing of politics, they really aren’t. Too many love it and demand it. I think many politicians would like to stop the posturing and just do the job but then they would lose their job. It’s a conundrum.

What Mr. Gee said in today’s @theglobeandmail.com.

Aren’t the Conservatives themselves fiction at this point? I don’t see much truth to them anymore. It’s mostly made up, wild dreams and daring fantasy.
