Majorities in the Senate and the House voted to overturn Trump’s tariffs on Canada – and most Americans disapprove of them too.

Trump should listen to Congress and the American people and sign the resolution to revoke these cost-raising tariffs.

If anyone has any evidence that folks doing the kind of activism and observing that Pretti and Good were doing when killed were inspired by *elected officials,* I'd love to see it.

Because from my reporting in Minneapolis, exactly zero people cited elected officials as inspiration.
Ron Johnson to Keith Ellison: "Two people are dead because you encouraged them to put themselves into harm's way! And now you are exploiting those two martyrs. You ought to feel damn guilty about it. Yeah, sit there and smirk. Smirk. It's sick! It's despicable. You disgust me."

I found an amazing and simple side hustle where you can work 100% from your phone. I schedule appointments and open accounts online. There is no starter kit to buy, no inventory to maintain, no samples to send, no selling, no asking your friends to buy things and no quotas to maintain.

Pauline Hanson’s racist rhetoric cast a shadow over my childhood. Here we are again | Zoya Patel
As a first generation immigrant, it is gutting to see Australians falling for One Nation’s anti-immigration rhetoric 30 years on from Hanson’s initial rise I’ve been cynical about politics for a long time, especially when it comes to Australian attitudes to racism and immigration. The latter has always been the favourite scapegoat of rightwing politicians to blame for anything they don’t want to meaningfully address through policy – house prices rising? Unemployment rates too high? Economic inequality growing? It’s because of all those foreigners, obviously, coming here to steal jobs, houses and food right out of the mouths of “Aussie families”. It’s so predictable it’s almost boring. But I will admit that even my hardened black heart was dismayed to see the recent polls that show a rise in popularity for One Nation. While I know that the factors driving poll outcomes are complex, it is gutting to see Australians falling for the same rubbish 30 years after I thought we were done with Pauline Hanson for good. Read one of my latest stories: The Federal Public Defender's Office in L.A. has handled every protest and immigration enforcement related case that's gone to trial since June.

They're 6 and 0 against the U.S. attorney’s office.

Here's their story www.latimes.com/california/s...

I’ve never felt unsafe in this bougie neighborhood a day in my life. This is a 25 mph zone, full of fancy bars and restaurants, a curling club, salons, boutiques, and one of the busiest coffee shops around. They are doing their damndest to wreck everything here.
This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.
