Working really hard at the moment. Play tests on the alpha build every other day this week. I’ve also thrown myself rather recklessly into the creation of an intro cutscene video - a multiweek project of a kind I have little experience in. I really hope it all pans out 😬 #gamedev #indiegame

Putting music aside for now, I'm starting to work on the first frames for the cutscene. I'm picturing a still frame kind of video, with some slight movement to give perspective. And lots of moving effects like rain and lights. Never done something like this before, so we'll see #gamedev #indiegame

I’ve found that having a board such as this is incredibly helpful. It helps me clear my mind by not having to remember stuff, and it gives me something concrete to do whenever I have time to get some work done. Even if it’s just refining a task. #gamedev #indiegame #indiedev

Feeling a bit burned out after a hard sprint to get the demo ready for play testing. I definitely need more feedback than what I got, but I’m concerned that any new play tests on the current build, will just produce duplicate feedback. Hoping that unexpected motivation hits me #indiegame #gamedev

Playtest went really well. Learned a lot. The tweaks from the latest feedback were really good. Still a few things to improve. But overall the testers had fun. Got both some laughs and some cool Aha-moments which is really all you want. Now, back to work! #gamedev #indiegame

Play test coming up tomorrow and I am currently trying to break the game in every way I possibly can. Most of it is just smashing random buttons quickly in different situations. And behold... a bug! Already found a few of these. #gamedev #indiegame #indiegamedev

I did it. I made the elevator work 🎉 This involved some of the most complex coding I've ever done. Full rewrites of the level manager and saveload manager, but now elevators can correctly load levels and level data. I've been pushing this for months but it's finally done. #indiegame #gamedev
