Hades the guy is a giant asshole and still gets to be in charge at the end. the gods are still in power. the status quo is quite intentionally maintained by zag and hades once his mom is back and things are smoothed over and forgotten

good article! but i feel like i’m going crazy. zagreus wasn’t an incredible empath breaking an unfair system. i agree the story in 2 isn’t great but neither was the story in 1 imo. i think it’s just that cultural tastes and expectations have changed since 2020

Dorohedoro fucking rules I can only say this. It's a New Weird classic, extremely funny and oddly heartwarming at the same time as it's full-on medical body horror and New Weird dystopian class warfare. The weebs are right. THE WEEBS ARE RIGHT.
