Good early morning night owls and overnighters who currently working, what are your thoughts on these eight moderate democratic senators siding and bending the knee to republican hacks to reopen the government, instead of holding the line. When will dem realize republicans never keep their word?

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 95th day out of the last 107.

12 days of work in 107 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

What they need to learn from Mamdani is that if you actually listen to your constituents, commit to fighting for them and their needs vs. selling out to corporate interests and the oligarchs, you can take on anybody.

I don’t understand camps saying: Dems need to follow the Mamdani model to win the midterms; or Dems need to follow the Spanberger model to win. It’s a big country. Different approaches work in different places. Candidates who connect w/their specific constituencies is the model.

October hit a 20-YEAR RECORD for layoffs under Trump as aviation is collapsing, airlines told to cut 10% of flights. Even after 9/11, aviation wasn’t this hollowed out for this long. This is an embarrassment.

While there are 42M on SNAP that we know of, but I believe the number of food insecure is much higher. Those who qualify, but are afraid of being stigmatized for using the help their tax dollars paid into. For decades, the GOP has pushed, that to be a ‘good American’ you have to suffer…YOU DON’T!!!
