They didn’t believe project 2025 existed until it was implemented. Then they will forget about it right after the next Dem wins and vote in JD Vance to do project 2033.

Dec 2020: they hate Trump and are glad he’s going to be gone

Jan 2021: they miss Trump and say he wasn’t so bad

Dec 2024: they love Trump and are glad to have him back

Jan 2025: they hate Trump and want him gone

The vicious cycle of idiocy

These are the people who don’t believe Republican’s policies could actually be what they are. But even they cannot deny the evidence once those policies are enacted.

The trick, and I have no idea how to pull it off, is for them to actually remember this for more than a month after an election.
New poll: In 2024, low-engagement voters went for Trump over Harris by 11 percentage points. But now they disapprove of the way he's handling the presidency by 13. They have moved 25 points against Trump — 2x as large as the shift for high-knowledge voters www.gelliottmorris.com/p/trump-lost...
Trump has lost the voters who weren’t paying attention in 2024
The least-engaged Americans have swung 25 points against him since 2024 — about twice the shift among everyone else. Trump has flattened the engagement gap.

I think that is where we are headed as well. Or my family might split our votes between Biss and Simmons to hedge our bets.

Is there any evidence that false or misleading attacks are less effective than truthful ones? Knowing the history of this country, I would expect not 😭 but idk either way for certain

Unclear how many you can peel off by making it a clear choice between wages of whiteness and actual wages. But to your point, that choice is not at all clear to these voters.
February 12, 2026 at 5:15 PM
I guess they also just have more crossover with R’s. In their minds, even if they recognize the betrayal, they still prefer R’s. They want wages of whiteness and higher actual wages. Republicans at least let them keep the wages of whiteness. They see Dems as not supporting either, so don’t vote them
February 12, 2026 at 5:14 PM
Then the R’s they elected do whatever they can do block or delay the referendums results from being implemented. But that behavior, unlike the Dems inaction, doesn’t seem to ever get punished. I assume due to asymmetry in the media, but just my guess!

The annual budget of Portage, IN is less than $50 mil. Where are they getting $5 billion? That is over 100 years worth of annual expenses for them.

Canada is +46 and Trump is -15. So Canada wins by more than 60 points. Not just more popular, but more popular by a crazy huge margin.

But why are they building 40% if they acknowledge 20% is high enough?

Problem is that it can take 10+ hours to travel 400 miles by train in much of the US 💀

We should absolutely speed up our trains, but the current reality is such.

Oh, missed op said coach. Have not found that anywhere lol. I was thinking business class on train vs on plane (for which I referenced China)
February 11, 2026 at 7:10 PM
Only in China have I found them to be comparable to premium airline seating. But that is just my experience - but seems to match what you are saying here that it isn’t the norm
February 11, 2026 at 7:02 PM
I’ve heard fb Midwest seats are extra crappy to stretch the money, as the original direction failed and the Ventures were shoehorned in as a plan B. Idk if that is true, but I could believe it!

The El Paso TFR issued by the FAA even grounds medivac flights. NO EXCEPTIONS. Any flight operating in the area may be deemed hostile and “the United States government may use deadly force against the airborne aircraft.”

Anyone needing a lifeline flight to a hospital or outside El Paso will die.
