I would like to go to Shanghai one day.

I know a couple of people who've been and they said it's out of this world.

Most Asian countries seem to be living in the future.
I feel as though I have been miniaturised and am in one of @tetzoo.bsky.social’s display cabinets…
Probably shouldn't have said best. It's just an opinion, but the nice thing about art is that people can find things better for their own reasons.
I think I've found my common theme...

"art challenges my thoughts, teaches and interacts"

Films with relatable themes. Films that inspire and teach, as well as being funny and entertaining.

BINGO.
Personally, I never found myself wanting a proper plot for MOL.

It has a common theme that everyone can relate too. It knows what it is and delivers that right from the start.

I love art that challenges my thoughts, teaches and interacts with me. It's why I like ALOTBSOL and MOL.

I like all the Python movies but I hated the Holy Grail ending.

I feel like they had more freedom with the MOL and it was funnier.
i was very close to terry and agree with you on the second part. but not the first.

i hold holy grail closest to my heart. they had no idea what they were doing and it shows on screen... a lot. it think that's part of the disjointed magic of it.

by MoL they were megastars and it felt more forced.
I've been making an influence list.

Trying to figure out my 'director' style.

I downloaded all the Python films and had a quick skim through them. The Meaning of Life stuck with me. It has such a wonderful style. It's a precisely controlled mishmash, and I love it for it.
Unpopular Opinion:

The Meaning of Life is the best Python film.

Terry Jones is a genius, especially at directing.

Mix them with some yoghurt. If plain, add a bit of jam or a spoonful of milkshake/hot chocolate powder.
Prolific has been on fire the last couple of days... my goodness.

Saving up for a matte box.
1 year ago today I released my novella.

One of the proudest days of my life.

🎉
I love this time of the year because no one wants salads anymore.

Lots of the salad items get reduced and sent to the local community fridge the next day.

I have a large salad for lunch/dinner and use the excess tomatoes and veg for pastas etc. or I chop them up and freeze them.

I love salad.
Shop less. If you need something, shop local, shop independent if possible!

Even if you can't, most online retailers show the store and its location, including Temu!!!

It's 5 minutes of research to see where you're buying from.

Please don't be lazy. It does make an impact.
Search on Amazon and then go to the sellers profile. Search for the seller on Google and often they have their own site.

Alternatively, Temu has a 'Local' option that allows you to buy from businesses that operate in your own country. Many of them are small businesses. You pay for shipping.
Mturk used to be so good, but since they started focusing on AI it's gone downhill and become rather exploitative.

Used to be £15-30 an hour. It's about £6 an hour now. Not even minimum wage.

I haven't seen that specific survey, but that does seem odd if it ONLY states that and nothing else?

If it's the usual "your data might be seen/shared with the general public... and the government, and scientists, and universities..." then sure.

But just the one is weird. Perhaps message them?
Prolific user of 5+ years here.

The results of most of these surveys get shared with the general public and/or will be accessible by anyone, inc police.

But, your data will be anonymised with your prolific ID unless stated otherwise.
Fresh apples from the local orchard.

Much nicer than supermarket ones and actually cheaper!

Delicious.
Yeah and we already have the sugar tax too.

I don't often buy fizzy drinks so if I do go out, that's usually when I want to treat myself.

Sweeteners seem to have a negative impact on my gut.
At this rate, the government will be tucking us in and checking if we’ve eaten our greens. Nanny statism has gone too far.

The government isn’t our parent.
Say what you will about Labour but it’s the laser focus on the big issues that really earns my respect

True. I don't even buy newspapers but once or twice I've clicked on one of their clickbaity headlines online...

Those clicks give them money too.

There has to be something done with regards blatant lies and misdirection like this. It has brainwashed so many and has been so toxic to our country for years.

Does the regulator not do anything? Can Labour do nothing? SM a cesspit they can't control. Print should at least have some standards no?
Newspapers should be required to publish the full context in the same size font.

If they get something wrong, they should be required to publish an apology in the same size font, and for the same length the story ran.
Got a weaselly reply back from reader's editor Ashlee Gagui about this lie on the Daily Mail front page explaining why "We are therefore entirely satisfied that there is no possible inaccuracy contained within the page" that broadcast a total lie - apparently it's ok because it was Nigel Farage's
