Yankee squad did not make it more than a few meters down their hallway before they had troubles of their own.

The moment that the sensor grid begins going off with alerts, Henry and the rest of Yankee squad are moving. The defensive and advantageous positions guarding the permitter were abandoned as the whole of the squad coalesced around the entryway into the Forerunner structure.
