OCTober Day 9: Strechin' Gal

This character started out as a boy, but I gender bent her because I needed more female characters. I only added the cartoon angle this year, since I was inspired by Luffy from One Piece

In the year 3000, technology exists to give people powers, but it only exists for the rich and powerful. Normally someone like Maria Melendez would never get access to such abilities. But during a field trip, she got lost and accidentally ended up in a superpower chamber with billionaire crime boss “Big Bad” Bruno Peters. And as a result, she got the power to morph her shape at will , while Big Bad Bruno ended up getting trapped looking like the villain in an ancient 1920s cartoon. While escaping him, she made off with a glitchy transforming suit. As a fan of ancient cartoons, she took on the persona of the Strechin’ Gal, and made an attempt at programming her suit to display a logo. She can stretch and morph her body into any shape. She was always a wacky girl, but now she can fashion herself like an ancient cartoon character, and disrupt Big Bad Bruno’s plans with cartoony silliness.
