SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.

I'm really considering on just randomly, from time to time, talking about this world. I haven't played a game in it in awhile but it's one of my favorite to revisit.

I'm also considering doing an entirely new one for scratch... if I ever get around to running a game.

I've since run about ten or so campaigns in that world, some in D&D, some in Pathfinder, built upon by players as they go and spanning about 700 years of history. I've got a couple pretty large binders covering it.

In the early 2000s, I tried to convert D&D 3E to support it. Since I couldn't get it to work, I ended up making a game world that hit a lot of the same themes (and frankly, at the time, lifted a lot right from it with the serials filed off).
