Out the window in blackness,
Momentary glimpses,
A sprinkle of light and power,
Delays, collisions, and near misses,

Lugging dead weight like baggage,
Hurrying up to wait,
What’s the old adage,
Is it fate?

Wake up, you deserve a little treat,
Floating, with a hum under your feet,
Nodding off or logging in,
Subtle rocking to the beat.
