It's heeeere!!! 🥳

I've already had a little listen and Omari Douglas does a fab job ✨

(And of course the source material is even fabber. The darkness, the trauma, the love, the humour, the sensory gorgeousness that is a Hellisen staple. Yes please!)
It's finally here! A Million Points of Light, the sequel to The Shape of Monster, is now live.

Get more of that woke cannibal erotica you e been craving ;)

Or, yanno, mages and monsters and betrayal.

Ooh so THAT'S what bothers me about Traitors. It reminds me too much of real life.
That's the bit I find most destructive about political campaigning: this constant game of "what's that you say Lassie?" voters have to play to guess what a candidate *really* stands for because you need all the votes or you get nothing. It leads us here, with the most convincing liars in power.

THIS IS FRAUD!! In so many ways, this is evil and should be illegal and should get the whole scam shut down. The platform makes money based on how many users it has. Falsifying the number of users IS FRAUD.

Also, THAT'S EVIL!! It's digital necromancy. Like... digital zombies, digital slavery.
Meta has patented AI that can run a dead person's account, continuing to post and chat on their behalf

It can message and video call by replicating a user's online behavior using their past data

This is disgusting, and dehumanizing, and unfortunately coming to damn near every platform you can think of. Multilingualism isn’t an inconvenience to be “solved” by technology. We have to push back.
Discovered today that Instagram had turned on (without my opt-in) automatic AUDIO translation of any reel that shows up in my feed not in English USING AI TO MIMIC THE SPEAKER’S VOICE and WOW it was creepy and upsetting.

You can turn it off in “Language & Translations” in Settings. 🙅🏻‍♀️

*Such an eccentric era. Not sure what to compare this to. Feels rather like living in a Moebius bande dessinee where it's complex and colorful but also totally vibe-driven and plotless, the hallucinated pages just unfold as they go along
