Question for Mike Flood: With $450 million being allocated to Alligator Alcatraz, and ICE burning through $8.4 million a day to illegally detain people—How much does it cost for fascism? How much do the tax payers have to pay for a fascist country?

The hundreds of thousands of Black & Latino men who were subjected to stop-and-frisk did not have the option to “leave NYC.” They endured the reign of Bloomberg - the beloved choice of elite New Yorkers - who even supported changing the law to give Bloomberg a 3rd term.

The president of the United States thinks asylum-seekers come from mental asylums.

He says it in almost every interview where the topic of migration comes up.

How is this not 25th Amendment territory? How is he not an embarrassment to this entire country?

If Mamdani wins I will leave New York. I will go live in one of the other 5 houses I have, perhaps the one in South Florida, or the one in Paris, or Napa, or Cabo, but I will definitely leave New York. I will keep my apartment, though, because it's awesome and New York is great. But I will leave.

I don't get Medicaid.

I’m not on food stamps.

I rely on no Social Safety nets.

But I still believe in FULLY funding these programs.

Why?

Because I'm not a cruel ruthless selfish piece of shit.

@schiff.senate.gov: "I am not afraid. I'll take whatever they throw my way... I'm proud to be at the top of his list."
It’s the start of the GOP cracking. The GOP position is “no talks”. Now there are talks. That’s great news for our country. Dems will save lots of lives. OF COURSE LOWERING SUBSIDIES FOR 200-400k EARNERS WORKS!! Take that 3 billion in savings over 2 years & put it into the SNAP emergency fund.
We’re getting close to Dems saving 8,800 lives (Yale/U of Penn study) by reversing draconian GOP cuts to ACA health insurance subsidies. Rich making 200-400k will see decreased subsidies. NO PROBLEM! Big subsidies for the rich was a GOP idea to begin with! www.axios.com/2025/11/03/s...
A group of House Democrats and Republicans is floating a plan to end the shutdown
The two-year ACA tax credit extension would include an income cap and reforms to prevent waste and fraud.
