If you had told me as a kid that SMB1, a game that was bundled with my NES along with Duck Hunt, was going to be a Detective Comics No. 27-tier collector's item... Well, I'd have been relieved, because I played that one already and don't need another copy.

Yeah, Compile basically did what Nintendo did with the OG SimCity, by making it way more fun than the computer versions. They weren't content with just topping Tokuma Shoten's slop.

I actually got a Sega Master System from a friend in high school (1997ish), and it was one of the first games I picked up for it when I actually found retrogaming stores that actually sold SMS carts. It absolutely prooves the justice of our culture over the jankass NES/FC port.

When you have like 30 - 90 minutes of gaming time per day, but you're juggling four various RPGs. @_@
I don't think I'm buying video games for awhile, even if they're like $0.50 for a bundle of 10 games, and 7 of them are actually worth playing.
