The UK doesn’t need more of the same. The UK doesn’t need reform. What the UK needs right now is a shake-up, a major change, a #revolution
revolutionuk.bsky.social
#Farage and #Reform hate people that are actually of use to society. It’s why they like billionaires and CEOs so much
revolutionuk.bsky.social
He complain about them being “biased liberals” and that he should have won for all the wars he’s stopped. Then hell prove to them that he should have won by starting another war, which he will then “stop”
revolutionuk.bsky.social
Honestly it’s no surprise so many teachers are leaving. They’re already facing poor wages, stricter budgets, higher levels of abuse. And now they have this moron claiming they’re “poisoning” kids.

We depend on teachers deeply, many of whom just want to do a good job. He must never be PM
revolutionuk.bsky.social
And the amount of benefits should be tied to the amount afforded to the welfare state. Because if they don’t want to help the public, why should the public help them?
revolutionuk.bsky.social
We’re already spending a ton of money on water companies, only to the profits to be kept in private hands. It’s about time the government just do what needs to be done

Lewisham's 🔴Labour council🔴 wants public ownership of Thames on the table

🕑There's only so long this government can hold out against the tide of public opinion

💧Lower our bills; clean up our seas; democratise our water. Public ownership of Thames Water NOW. www.salamandernews.org/lewisham-cou...
Lewisham council urges government to consider nationalisation of failing Thames Water
Green opposition councillors brought a motion calling for Thames Water to be brought back into public ownership. The Labour group passed an amended motion, but keeps nationalisation on the table.

Wooing a self proclaimed “significant player in the oil and gas market”, could they get any more obvious?

Completely infuriating

Competition & Markets Authority said requests from 5 private water companies to increase bills AGAIN were "largely unjustified"

But your bills will still rise

This is all unjustified

There is no market, PUBLIC OWNERSHIP NOW

Customers of five water firms are facing higher than expected hikes to bills
While most claims for extra cash were found to be unjustified, rises to bills on top of what Ofwat has allowed look set to be granted at each company

If that is his best behaviour then what’s he like at his worst? It’s almost like the racism is being excused because he didn’t call for Badenoch’s head.

Why do we constantly set such a low bar for right wing politicians?
revolutionuk.bsky.social
The fact that only 46% of the country are opposed it is worrying. Clearly people don‘t know what the ECHR is protecting us from, and the dangers that withdrawing would introduce
revolutionuk.bsky.social
Yep, we sold off our water system to private companies and constantly give them money so they can raise their prices, pay their bosses more, and dump sewage into our rivers. Genius!

WE are being forced to pay more for the privilege of being ripped off by water companies.

They've not invested. Instead they've taken out £80 billion in dividends and loaded up those companies with £70 billion in debt.

Now they are being allowed to hike our water bills.

Reform don’t care about what the public want, not even their own voters. They only care about what the people giving them money want, and part of that is to push fossil fuels as far as they can.
revolutionuk.bsky.social
Every single person in Reform is simultaneously the worst person you’ve ever met. Probably realised you actually have to do work rather than just blame migrants and science for everything
revolutionuk.bsky.social
Can’t ask the poor, poor water bosses or investors to reduce their pay or bonuses to pay for what they should have been doing in the first place. The public have lots of spare cash lying around though, let’s fleece them for a little bit more

Time to repost this with the news that #Reform Deputy Chair Paul Nuttall was an MEP with Gill. Nuttall was also very pro Russia, such as when he criticised the EU for not recognising Russia‘s annexation of Crimea and praised Putin

Reform are all in #Russia pockets, and we can’t keep ignoring it
revolutionuk.bsky.social
Any time someone tries to tell you that #Farage didn’t know who Nathan Gill is, show them this video.

Farage and #Reform are liars, and they will say anything to save their own skin

Who’d have guessed? Nigel’s ‘honest, decent, honourable man’ has admitted taking Russian-linked bribes💰

This was always going to be a target for hackers, but the government brushed off all concerns and ploughed through with it anyway. Its been a complete failure from all sides, and they need to repeal it or drastically amend it
revolutionuk.bsky.social
And that’s why he will claim it’s a fix and the Nobel team are against him when he doesn’t win. Like a child always does
revolutionuk.bsky.social
It’s unfortunately true, you can come at them with all the facts and figures and they’ll just claim they’re fake

The targeting of migrants is fuelled by the elite, trying to give people a different target to divide us. Because the moment we all see that they're the issue, then they’re in trouble
revolutionuk.bsky.social
You forgot his 13th job of kissing Trump and Putins arses daily. Seriously though, at what point do we say it’s enough. At 12 jobs he‘s Not going to be fulfilling his MP duties in any meaningful way.

Also, presumably he’s going to get fined or something for declaring his earnings late…right?
revolutionuk.bsky.social
That alone might make Reform start supporting vegetarian diets. Can’t be having the EU take our vegetable sausages away!
revolutionuk.bsky.social
Consumers already have the options of “chicken” burger and “beef” burger, surely adding “veggie” or “vegan” isn’t going to be that confusing.

If this is somehow the most damaging thing for livestock farmers then they’re in a better position than previously thought
revolutionuk.bsky.social
If only we our own infrastructure for developing and manufacturing drugs so we weren’t held to ransom by private American companies

Instead we decide to sell off all our important stuff, after spending hundreds of millions in public money to develop it in the first place, as is the British way

So all it took was for them to tank the economy a few times, make life generally worse for people, and lose most of their supporters to come up with a good conference and policies that are “properly costed”.

Feels like there might still be some room for improvement there
revolutionuk.bsky.social
Exactly, it‘s pretty much just a game to them. With that amount of money a bit more isn’t going to change their life, it’s all about making the number or the line go up
revolutionuk.bsky.social
Really? Most of the buzz around the conference has been full of critique and ridicule. If anything shes just given them more ammunition
