At least twice a day I want to hurl myself off a bridge or something and then my toddler wanders over and says, like, “Mama, I love Woodstock, who is a veeeerrey small bird, but I don’t know the name of the one who is his dog friend?” and I’m like, oh, oh my god, the unrelenting superbloom of life!!

Someone sent me Lagavulin (scotch) because I mentioned it on my blog so then I joked that I’m just gonna start saying things I like and hope they magically appear. One of my hypothetical examples: chocolate chip cookies!

Spent a good 1/2 hour of class today discussing my Dr Manhattan-is-Charlie-Brown theory. I tried to just mention it lightly in passing but my students were Not letting it go. Got many new converts, I’m proud to say 😃
