Union absolutely earned this Shield. Almost never dropped their level all year long no matter who they were playing, and clinched it with one of the two or three best wins of the season.

Other contenders couldn't match the week-to-week focus Philly had. Top team.

🔵 BREAKING: Sporting KC are finalizing a deal to name NYCFC's sporting director David Lee as their new CSO, per sources.

Lee has been with NYCFC since before their inaugural game and club to win MLS Cup in 2021.

NYCFC has most points in MLS since Lee took over as CSO in 2020

#DCU is really missing Hopkins. His incredible work ethic, ground coverage, and front press really helps disrupt teams. Philly controlling the middle of the field and breezing past their midfield and defense.

My 22 Under 22 vote is in. As usual I skewed much more heavily towards "proven" rather than "prospect," and the fact that here were so many of the former seems like an indication of health for the league overall.

Sources telling me that DC United has cut the entirety of its scouting department as the club continues its overhaul under new sporting director Erkut Sogut & head coach Rene Weiler. Assitant GM Caleb Shreve among those let go (that bit first reported by my guy @tombogert.bsky.social the other day.)
