My friend who is an essential worker for the fed gov’t had to sign paperwork stating, in practice, that he had to work for free. That’s never happened before.

My wife, who’s not a gov’t worker but a contractor said she’ll be furloughed 10/27 if they don’t reopen. That’s never happened before.

Prisca Chilufya to Angel City is an interesting move. I guess she could be good linking up with a goal poacher like Jónsdóttir.

Never really clicked in Orlando. Those shooting stats are reflective of a larger issue with the Pride attack outside of Banda.

Prisca Chilufya Scouting Report on fbref. Very high numbers on take-ons and progressive passes/carries, but really poor shooting stats.

Today, Angel City FC announced that the club has acquired Zambian international forward Prisca Chilufya and a 2025 international roster spot through a trade with the Orlando Pride.

In exchange, the Pride will receive $50,000 in intra-league transfer funds.

I think it was a FIFA requirement? I read the rules a few years ago and all pro soccer has to stop in a country when they’re hosting a World Cup. I assume that means men’s soccer, or else MLS will have to do the same in 2031.
