Poorest Britons lose right to financial privacy.

The Public Authorities (Fraud, Error and Recovery) Act 2025 empowers the state to 24/7 snoop on the bank accounts of recipients of universal credit; employment and support allowance; state pension credit.

No court order needed. No right of appeal.

“.. After the release of thousands of Epstein files on Friday, The New York Times contacted Ms. Farmer .. She broke down in tears.

“I’ve waited 30 years,” she said. “I can’t believe it. They can’t call me a liar anymore.”

In 1970 the UK and Norway were roughly equal, almost no debt, and owned all their Public Services.

Now the UK owns nothing and has £3tn of debt.

While Norway still owns everything and has the equivalent of £10tn.

That's how privatisation 'works'.

Donald Trump is facing a child rape lawsuit. Why aren't we talking about it?

Epstein elbowed Trump playfully asking him, referring to Doe, "This is a good one, right?" Trump smiled and nodded in agreement. They both chuckled and Doe felt uncomfortable, but, at the time, was too young to understand why. 2/2

I agree with Jenkins here: if your job is destroying the Labour Party, engaging wholeheartedly in genocide and encouraging all-out nuclear war in Europe, then Sir Keir Starmer is indeed the best man for the job...

Merry Christmas, Keir Starmer: despite everything, you’re still the best man for the job | Simon Jenkins

Surprise! It’s another scam!
Trump is taking money out their housing allowances approved by Congress and giving it to them in a “bonus” so it looks like it came from him. It’s just a shell game with military pay from the ultimate con man

The explosion of extreme and dangerous misogyny in our schools is down to influencers like Andrew Tate.

Reminder:

Nigel Farage once described Andrew Tate as “an important voice for men”.

According to ridiculous NHS rules Psychiatrists with 13 years of training can’t diagnose ADHD.

But anyone who does a 4 week (120 hour) course and reads through a tick sheet can.

They charge £500 an hour, instead of the £35 it would cost the NHS.

It’s a scam.

MPs laughed when Jake Richards dismissed Jeremy Corbyn’s request for a meeting on the Palestine Action hunger strikers.

Laughed.

This is who we’re governed by, people entrusted to represent a nation, yet so insulated by power they respond to human suffering with indifference and mockery.
