Voters should pick their representatives, not the other way around. Glad to get the chance to talk to some of the volunteers and organizers doing the hard work to make sure Prop 50 passes. This vote will have critical implications, not just for California, but for our entire country.

So me & @discodeb72.bsky.social have been frantically looking for Cassie for almost 2 hours. A neighbourhood cat called Olly The Bastard came into my house and attacked her really viciously. I cornered him in our kitchen but he went berserk before escaping. Cassie appears uninjured but very shaken.

Cassie, a 7 month old kitten who is the sweetest cat you could ever hope to meet.

Even if you don’t directly receive SNAP you still benefit from it existing. It creates jobs, frees people’s money up for other expenses, and keeps more grocery stores open(which is good for prices for everyone)

We are only talking about the devastation on families that need food, that these SNAP cuts are going to have.

We are NOT talking about the DEVASTATION of small businesses whose clientele won’t be spending in their stores.

Some stores have more than 50% of their revenue from EBT purchases!
