About 40% of SNAP recipients are children. Around half of ALL children in the country are covered by Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program.
And the so-called “party of family values” gutted both programs by billions of dollars.
Doesn’t sound very pro-family to me.

Pure logistical and tactical stupidity to send in 500 more guardsmen to bolster 1500 already there. No National Guard units from any other state are needed in any other state. They exist to help their own state when needed.

Reminder: If Trump believed even for one minute his orders to the military were always going to be lawful, he would’ve endorsed the PSA from democratic lawmakers, not threatened to have them arrested and executed.

Whether this was random street crime or targeted political violence, I think it was bad for the president to unnecessarily put the National Guard in harm’s way like this. They simply don’t need to be there.
