Now is a great time to acknowledge that people in different parts of the country are going to want to elect different kinds of candidates. Some want moderates, some want farther left. But of course, most lose the nuance of that immediately.

This is symbolic. Too many people don't understand how Congress works. The Senate did this, great. The House isn't going to do shit because of Mike Johnson. But yes, at least the Senators know they represent everyone in a state and not just gerrymandered districts
