A $25,000 fee here is obscene. The Citizens Initiative Act has been amended into a millionaire's initiative act.
No big deal, but the Alberta government just increased the fee to submit a citizen initiated petition from $500 to $25, 000. After the separatism initiative was approved, but before Corb Lund's coal mining petition gets re-approved. No political shenanigans going on here.

It bought some xmas #kolbassa, but I couldn't find the Alberta Ukrainian brand i wanted. The lady ahead of me was buying a giant black forest cake and a bunch of specialty coffees. I like her idea better.
