They can only go after funding because thankfully they have no jurisdiction in criminal law.
The Alberta UCP passed virtually all of resolutions at its weekend convention. One called for an end to “public funding for third-trimester abortions, except in cases where the physical health of the mother is at serious risk.”
It passed.

It also clearly shows that Carney bent the knee to Danielle Smith to get nothing in return. This MOU will not secure interprovincial peace, and it won't mollify Alberta separatists, and instead he's threatened his whole climate framework and pissing off every other province.
