Emailed my state senator a week ago asking him to say something about ICE pulling a guy out of a vehicle in his district and what pending bills he supports related to what ICE is doing.

ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

Partisan gerrymandering should be constitutionally barred.

SCOTUS says it isn't.

Until a constitutional amendment changes that we can't have unilateral disarmament.

Which means once Republicans kicked off mid-decade redistricting this was the only possible response

This tweet could be a museum exhibit for intra-GOP political dynamics in the Trump era. Distances himself from the post, cautiously avoids assigning blame for it, calibrated to offer maximum praise for the president nevertheless.

Seeing a not insignificant number of my neighbors in a local FB group calling for the deportation of a US citizen local elected official because they don’t like his politics really brings home how many would actually sell out any of us in a heartbeat if it would “own the libs.” Not great.

The housing crisis is personal.

I grew up in public housing. When my father unexpectedly passed away, I was able to stay in our apartment because I knew my rights. Finally buying a home meant breaking cycles of poverty for my family.

I want every MA resident to have that opportunity.

The fact that both are quite experienced—8 years and 12 years with CBP—is yet more evidence that CBP should be abolished and all of its agents fired. There's no way to "reform" or "retrain" that, it's just a violent gang with badges.
