Alright, as one of my bugaboos is "all the economic data looks pretty good! We're on our way" and I'd like to see non-aggregated evidence that this is the case (e.g., big company is hiring 5,000 people) and see how things are going in non-AI, crypto, super-rich space, I'll track here.

Hey look they kept rising during Trump's first term. Then they went way down under Biden.

So this IL Hospital Association memo describes an incident where ICE detained a US citizen, gave them HEART PROBLEMS, took them to a hospital where the fought with medical personnel, then left when they realized they detained a CITIZEN.

After what happened at the WaPo, if the basically all the on-air talent & top producers at 60 Minutes don't walk away ASAP (to preferably start their own thing on YouTube, Netflix, whatever), I will be very sad.

This was months in the making. Pelley, Stahl, etc have to be ready to move.

I know smart people are working very hard on this, but unlike in some other areas, it feels like with Alzheimer's all we've gotten good at lately is approving drugs that will make billions of dollars, not that they will notably improve patients lives.

A lot of commentators failed basic understanding of what a criminal attorney does -- advocates for his client in a partisan way.

Even in the lawyer's summary, it was noted Lacy passed FOUR cars in a no-passing zone. That was the "good" version.
