#Mariners projected to win 93.1 games in the initial PECOTA standings, trailing only the Dodgers (105.2 wins).

PECOTA gives the M’s a 91.5% chance to make the playoffs, 69.3% to win the AL West.
due to the magic, wonder, and vagaries of time, tomorrow is now today. PECOTA projected standings are live, please commence rending garments and gnashing teeth

Can’t lie, this is super yucky!
MLB TV will remain $150 a season but look at this BS they’re trying to pull. You cannot “buy” MLB TV without buying ESPN Unlimited, but they give you a one month free trial, and then the hope is you forget to cancel since you don’t need ESPN to have MLB TV, only to initially purchase.

Sad to see ‘em go, but you do this every day of the week if you’re the Mariners. They have the track record to replenish what they lost, while also retaining their very best prospects. I can hardly imagine a better fit for their roster on paper.

You make this trade when you’re trying to win now.
Here’s what I think we know so far:

Mariners sending INF Tai Peete and switch pitcher Jurrangelo Cijntje to St. Louis

Cardinals sending INF/OF Brendan Donovan to the Mariners

Mariners sending 3B Ben Williamson to Tampa Bay

The Mariners are indeed getting Brendan Donovan from the Cardinals in a three-team trade that will include third baseman Ben Williamson going to the Rays and pitching prospect Jurrangelo Cijntje going from Seattle to St. Louis, according to a source.

Leave it to Cal Raleigh to bring together lawmakers from both sides of the aisle.

Wishing Ben Williamson the best. Held down the fort at third base in a time of need last year. Was probably was never seen as a long term solution in Seattle, but his contributions are appreciated nonetheless. His name will forever be part of the story of the 2025 team.
Trade: The Seattle Mariners are on the verge of acquiring infielder/outfielder Brendan Donovan from the St. Louis Cardinals. The Tampa Bay Rays have a minor role in the 3-way trade in which they are expected to acquire Mariners utilityman Ben Williamson. @katiejwoo.bsky.social on it.

The Mariners are out of options in the infield. Their hopes of adding likely depend on the Cardinals’ willingness to deal Brendan Donovan in the coming days.
