For the life of me, I’ll never understand how the line judge can miss this. They’re only looking *directly down the line*
Byron Young looks like he's lined up in the neutral zone
Kupp coughs it up

Haha, fans were booing the third-and-16 draw right up until Kenneth Walker III got the first down.

Ballot #30 is from David Haugh. Félix gains again & moves to net +7 in the early going. Of his 15 votes, only two are from public 2025 voters who checked his name last year. Buehrle & Andruw round out Haugh’s 3-player ballot.

Mariners jumping the market and getting that Naylor deal done looks awfully good with the look of that Alonso contract. 🤑

Even if you assume perfect intentions from a committee largely made up of university athletic directors (lol), the CFP rankings are loaded with logical fallacies and cognitive biases on a regular basis.

@rodger.bsky.social has it right — the “computers” were never the problem. The BCS format was.

Just say no to evaluating relievers based on ERA. Ferrer had the fourth highest groundball rate in baseball last year and struck out 4.5 guys for each one he walked. He did this while throwing to arguably the game's worst catching tandem and in front of a bottom-three defense.

Somewhere I have a commemorative coin from Salute to Armed Forces Day on April 21, 2012, a game between the Mariners and White Sox…

…also known as Philip Humber’s perfect game.
What is the most "obscure" piece of sports memorabilia that you own? Why do you have it?

Adam Jude reporting in the Seattle Times this morning that despite a deal not being close, Jorge Polanco is believed to prefer a return to the Mariners headed into the Winter Meetings.

Here are Mariners’ possible infield options heading into MLB Winter Meetings
While a reunion with Jorge Polanco still seems like the Mariners' top priority, the team is exploring other options in the infield as well.

Mariners posted this on their social media channels and that banner in the back is definitely going to be disorienting for a while 😂

(Side note: the team really should start posting on Bluesky!)
