This part 👆🏾!! This is the key point. “The right to live in a factual reality”—that Republicans (or Trumpists) fail to recognize this, or the danger of failing to support this right, is the primary rupture with Democrats (or non-Trumpists). It is a reprise of “the reality-based community.”

Taught my students last week that they have a First Amendment right to record in Pennsylvania. So do folks in Chicago and Portland.
