Private Eye offers up an excellently scornful commentary on the relentless polling. It’s become ridiculous and has oversimplified our politics to dangerous levels of stupid and irresponsible.

Pre 2016 there was no need to tear up the legal rule book.
The UK had rights as an EU member to return illegal migrants; France were obliged to take them back (or hold them at Calais).

Farage, Johnson, Rees-Mogg et al threw that baby out with the bath-water. Brexit = small boat invasion.

These 'tough talking Tories' are risible. Farage is a (dangerous) joke, but he makes no bones about mirroring the Gold Toilet King.

Not an original thought amongst them. Such a shame the Lib Dems are deemed unworthy of equal coverage.

Pre-2016 there were virtually no migrant boats crossing the English channel.
Why?
As part of the EU, the UK had an agreement to return them.
France had to accept them.

These are Farage Boats.
