🕊️My cousin hosts a morning touch football game every Thanksgiving. The invitation to it includes the usual bits (time, place, etc), but also this kind and wry reminder:

“This is a family friendly event. Kids 12 and under must get the ball once every 4 downs. Try not to steamroll anyone over 30.”

Happy Birthday Lazzie
Cool Penguin Facts

1. There's a version of them that's little. And blue. 💙. Shockingly, they are called Little Blue Penguins. Also sometimes, fairy penguins.

2. The oldest one is 25 years. Old. This is her.

3. Her name is Lazzie and it's her birthday.

The problem with climate change is we have to convince a bunch of people that future people are actual people, when they don't even believe some currently alive people are people.

Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect and,
Genuflect genuflect genuflect…”

Quinn is a terrific writer. Her stories and wry, insightful, heartbreaking, funny, and delightful. She also gives portions of her profits away to charities. Christmas is coming I’m just sayin’.

⭐️This person is one of my favorite people to follow. I especially love his passion about sports and the paragraphs like this one where I do NOT UNDERSTAND A SINGLE WORD. The less I get it, the more fun for me. (Not an invitation for anyone to explain it.)
Tua unloading an underthrown deep shot into double coverage after having a full 3.5 seconds to bounce around in the pocket with two underneath guys open is definitely something else

Celebrating Ann Reinking on her birthday with this astonishing Jack Mitchell photo. Annie was elegant, intelligent, hilarious, bawdy, ferocious, silly, empathetic, and deep as the ocean. 💔💜

Even winning this year’s Halloween costume prize couldn’t ease Carol’s existential ennui. “Another October, another ghost, another shiny prize. Maybe a pig’s ear would cheer me. Ah nuts, who am I kidding.”
