To call Chuck Schumer inadequate is an insult to the inadequate.

We have no principles, but we do have alliteration!

And it will be a mystery to him why voters don't rally to him and his party.

Top Post Reporter, sit down, your mother and I have to speak with you about the Tooth Fairy.
Brian Stelter: A top Post reporter tells me "there's now a strong sense" across the newsroom "that neither Jeff Bezos nor Will Lewis are serious, good-faith stewards of The Washington Post."

This is a joke, right?

You’re joking?

Good one.
Rahm Emanuel's “combination of policy talk, moral reflection and candid critiques of recent Democratic fixations is distinctive, and there’s impressive political savvy in what he foregrounds and how he frames it,” argues Frank Bruni.

Your state did not help us terrorize its citizens, so what choice did we have other than shooting people in the head

JDV confusing ICE with the plot of Career Opportunities, with Frank Whaley and Jennifer Connelly (1991, Bryan Gordon)
Oh my God, what an incredibly real and incredibly terrifying story. These grown men were locked inside a restaurant? Wow.

It's hard to say where that ranks next to the state-sanctioned murders and the kidnapping of children, but gosh, they were briefly locked inside a restaurant? Heaven forfend.

Seriously, folks, people did NOT vote for murder on the streets. A majority of those who voted went for Trump, and to win power, those against Trump will have to win many of them over, not reject them all as people who want fascism.

Bezos knows it's a bad investment. I think he doesn’t care about losses at the paper, a rounding error for a man of his wealth.

He thought he could buy its reputation, use generational good will to support his spaceboy projects, Ayn Rand social policies. Surprise! We're stupid, but not that stupid.
If this is true (and that’s not a small if), it is reasonable to posit that Bezos is trying to offload the Post. Or kill it altogether.

Sports is a top driver of traffic and subscriptions for most news sites.

And we’ve seen how Bezos and Lewis have mangled the Opinion section.

"In the future, we should form a committee about this" really is the perfect distillation of the Democratic response, of the failure of the party to meet this moment.
We will need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission when these cruel, lawless people are out of office. They must be held accountable in order for our nation to heal.

The fact that every right winger with influence screams "who is paying for all of this" tells you exactly how awash in cash they all are, and how much they rely on that to keep their movement afloat.
James O'Keefe says he's never seen anything so organized as the anti-ICE movement, observers--he seems to think this term is code--everywhere he goes. Who is paying for it??? he demands to know. It's like he can't even imagine people caring for one another.
