Why not run a short one online, which would lower the organisation bar significantly?
Take it from there

I wonder... would there be any interest in some F# event / (un)conference in 2026?
I always wanted to do something similar to F# Creators Workshop (which @dsyme.bsky.social organised years ago in Cambridge) or Elm Camp (which has been for last couple of years)

📣 New Blog Post!

Fellow OSS authors! Drowning in hopelessly outdated code snippets and misleading docs?

I’ve been there. This post is about the idea that helped us recover — shared in case it's useful to someone else. 💜

Example Driven Documentation · Purple Kingdom Games
Providing documentation for open source projects is a necessary support activity for any library author, but it comes with a heavy maintenance cost, particularly for large projects.

And...
"...you want to start with no, which can mean many things and frees people up to enter the negotiation. Preserving your counterpart’s autonomy by giving them permission to say no, calms them, allows them to feel they are in the driving seat"

"Prior to seeking agreement, do an accusation audit. What are all the things they might say about you as a reason to not agree to your proposal? Then you lead with them. “You may feel…"
If they are unacknowledged or denied they have power. But if you label them, calmly, it takes the sting out

Writing about tools for architecture decision making, to describe a tool in a paragraph or so it very hard.
How to make justice to what comes to hundreds if not thousands of hours of work that went into creating these facilitation tools

Today during DDD training I was asked which companies use Domain Driven Design today
I know there are a few companies I'm helping, Do you know some list or some companies that are good current use cases?

I missed this when you first posted it but this is the kind of development I feel motivated to fight for 😭
Write code to make being human easier. Rip code out if it makes being human harder. Write code to make caring for each other easier. Rip it out if it makes caring for each other harder.

Empathy driven development has literally never failed me. It’s done me better than everything else combined

An incident decision is reverted, causing team frustration. Our new story explores the socio-technical fallout of post-incident governance and how to build trust through clearer processes and supportive leadership.

Very much looking forward to @trond.hjorteland.com joining us at @virtualddd.com
We've scheduled a new session on a common challenge: seeing the whole system beyond our own part. Trond Hjorteland will introduce systems thinking to help us gain a holistic perspective on complexity.
