Says something about the stacked cast in Heat that Tom Noonan takes this role. But he’s so effortless, it’s a great counterweight to the fireworks going on in other performances. And Manhunter? Don’t even. Terrific actor. RIP.

Weird how we talk about Chameleon Actors. The whole point of chameleons is that they blend into the background. The best chameleon actors are Supporting Artists.

Jean-Paul Sartre died in 1980. Incredible to think he may have seen the film “Every Which Way But Loose”.

The one major change I’ve noticed at 50 is you spend a lot more time folding up cardboard coasters to stabilise restaurant table legs.

I love The Traitors. But I couldn’t care less about the challenges. I know we learn stuff, and the format needs action, there are shields etc but if it was just a 100k prize and a soap opera in the mansion, I wouldn’t miss the games.

Jenrick is such a fabulously Dickensian name. He’d be a thin, hollow-eyed man who stood in the corner of the workhouse. Never cruel, but never kind. He just watched, and seemed to enjoy. His habit would be to occasionally mop the edges of his mouth, like a man enjoying a satisfying meal.

Big fan of Stephen. He looks like a WW1 officer hoping for a good war, now in No Man’s Land in The Somme wondering whether a fluffy pink jumper was a good idea. #traitors

And so once again we say farewell to Xmas — the only time of year when we take two-syllable words like ‘given’ and ‘heaven’ and sing them in one syllable, as if we were Americans singing ‘squirrel’ or ‘mirror’.

“His presidency will be remembered for his bizarre performances, dancing and celebrating as his economy continued to fail. His brazen arrogance was breathtaking, joking once he was "bigger than Taylor Swift". “

Let’s play a game of Which President?
