It was a peaceful scene seconds before this. Definitely saw an infant, a 3 or 4 year old and a 5 year old right up there where the gas was being deployed.

I was there. At the corner diagonal from the ICE building. The crowd was peaceful, chanting, there were many families as this march was sponsored by workers’ unions. The most aggressive thing the crowd was doing was chanting “shame, shame, shame” & they let the tear gas fly. Totally uncalled for.
