Rob Reiner either made your favorite movie, or made somebody you know’s favorite movie. If you’re a Californian, he’s also part of the reason you or your friends can get married. He has changed more lives for the better than this asshole commenting on him ever did.

Jay Kelly: enjoyed this for gorgeous scenery & several beautiful performances. Transitions between memory and the present are elegant and evocative.

Since becoming a parent I have not, in fact, understood the parents who say “if you were a parent you’d understand” about vaccine hesitancy. Being in charge of this fragile little miracle has me saying things like “give her all the vaccines. Turn this baby into a pincushion” to doctors

Just a friendly reminder as we go into the holidays:

Folks don't have to explain to you why they don't drink.

If you offer them a drink and they decline, don't ask them why. It's not your business.

Just offer them something without alcohol to drink instead. And move on.

Tried to pay for postage to the US using #RoyalMail online. Can't do it without accepting all cookies and they 'require' recipient's email and phone number. I don't want tracking. It's a birthday card, no need for her to know when it will be delivered. Outrageous abuse of personal data. No thanks.
