Formerly Republican ticket-splitter descendant of Texas Scalawags. I haven’t voted for a single GOP since they announced they’d crater the nation to make Obama a one-term president. Architect, archaeologist, autism dad.
There’s an added piece needed. Every protest should include citizens taking an oath to preserve & protect the Constitution from all enemies foreign & domestic. We need to publicly declare ourselves on the side of the Constitution to make our allegiance clear when Trump orders our troops to shoot us.
This is excellent. This is the kind of guidance needed in the face of a lawless regime.
We want to speak directly to members of the Military and the Intelligence Community.

The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution.

Don’t give up the ship.

No lawmaker in Congress should be able to buy, own, and sell individual stocks. Period. Let's make Congressional stock trading illegal.

Someone should write a Moynihan report on our elite class, explaining that their problems are not socioeconomic but the product of a pathological ghetto culture.

81 years ago, FDR proposed a second Bill of Rights to guarantee every American the right to employment, healthcare, education, housing, and a living income. His words are as relevant now as they were then. Watch.

If you aren't gonna fight the ever-rising tide of fascism with the very powerful and effective tools you have available as a U. S. Senator, you need to find another job. Or just retire. Don't care which. Just clear your desk into a couple of banker boxes and leave.

🚨 I pledge to NEVER step foot in a Walmart again. If I cannot afford it or find it elsewhere, I do not need it. White people MUST take a stand. This openly hostile contempt for black people cannot be tolerated or dismissed. I am not waiting for a national strike - I am DONE. Who will join me?

In 2001, terrorists tried to destroy the White House with a hijacked plane. 24 years later, the president of the United States accepted a plane from people funding terrorists and destroyed the White House himself.🔄

Walmart, McDonalds and Amazon are the largest employers of people who require SNAP assistance.

The CEOs earned between 18-40 million last year, 1000x their median employee income.

They took billions in profits, while their workers relied on SNAP to survive.

Wanna fix fraud and abuse?

Fix that.

The thing about Johnson not swearing in Grijalva is that’s it a test for 2026.

If you think they will accept an outcome they don’t like, they will just Grijalva it.

So what’s the plan when the GOP says “we ain’t leaving, fuck you, make us.”

Because that IS what they are going to say.

The Roman historian Tacitus' assessment of the original fascist takover sounds familiar: “little by little he [Augustus] elevated himself and drew to himself the functions of Senate, magistrates, and laws” (insurgere paulatim, munia senatus magistratuum legum in se trahere." Ann. 1.2).
