i need someone to explain to me why exactly people are freaking out at the times over this

If you thought Elon Musk's “Grok” chatbot couldn't get worse, read my latest article: Grok isn't just undressing women, it's now putting swastika bikinis on them. One woman who was targeted is a recently-deceased Holocaust survivor.
BREAKING: X’s chatbot Grok isn’t just making AI porn deepfakes, it’s now making Nazi AI porn deepfakes, undressing women and showing them wearing “swastika bikinis”. Many of these women are Jewish, including a recently deceased Holocaust survivor.

i dislike these plots from a data visualization/expression pov. i think it's teachable _why_ they're, imo, bad plots.

here's your crash course into purposeful data viz :)

okay so here's a different graph that is interesting. if we look at negative sentiment posts by the age of the account, there is a significant uptick in negative sentiment posts coming from "elder" accounts. this chart here is looking at the past 3 days.

The Free Speech Union commissioned a "security" report on us, so we tested their security. Turns out - it sucks.

We've now published the names of everyone who has donated to a FSU fundraiser, along with how much they gave and to which campaign.

nothing brings me joy like getting a mundane statement from a tech company media line "on background," quoting + attributing it on the record, and emailing it back to them

some behind-the-scenes here: until we get daytime or otherwise very good quality nighttime media, it's very hard to verify anything visually. i'm personally waiting on photojournalists to start filing their pictures to do any verification + identification
No one who's not on the ground has any idea what the fuck is going on other than there's explosions don't trust any of the helicopter stuff yet be careful about what footage you're spreading I've already seen some stuff on X that looks like Syria
