If the blanket was heavy enough while it was wet and was the only thing in the washer, it probably got unbalanced and started 'walking'. I've had this happen to me with fluffy polyester blankets a lot cuz they Love to absorb a lot of moisture and get Heavy. When the spin cycle kicks in its over lol.

Its super easy to and you're already most of the way there. I'd highly recommend doing a little finishing stitch whichever you choose, keychain or patch, just to protect the aida cloth from unraveling. I used to sew my patches on by hand but now I'd started doing heat and bond. :3 Good luck friend!

What I did was just cut out the design and did like a finishing stitch around the whole thing. I kept excess material and folded it under to hopefully hold the stitches in, then hid all that under several black stitches for the border. Here's it in progress. Lots of other techniques on YouTube!

As Kai mentioned, a part of my thought process was developing visual traits for GMS that differed from the other manufacturers.

Some notes I took at the time to help steer GMS away from preexisting frames. Visors fit the theme, and the Everest's in-universe connection to HA also helped.
