The results of a little experiment I and @hleehurley.bsky.social carried out over a few months..

If he does nothing else, I hope Zack manages to shift the Overton window so that the press can't dismiss perfectly legitimate demands as crackpot dreams.

Green Party - Nationalise the water companies, tax the super rich, invest in our public services, stop the genocide, lower bills.

You could simply record a video in less time than it takes to get this bullshit set up to a satisfactory level, without all of the potential risks involved in this utter, utter nonsense.

"Zia, do you ever think it's the number one problem because you spend a lot of time spreading misinformation and fear?"

Last night, Nigel Farage and Zia Yusuf were called fascists on prime-time BBC. Call me sentimental, but I think the UK is a slightly better place today.

The Overton window shifted in our favour for once.

I find this very interesting, especially after interviewing an Irish MP last year who was unaware that PSNI had been sharing sensitive information with paramilitary groups.

Probably a little bit too much tbh 🤭

'And lo and behold three days later Polanski was on BBC Radio 4's Any Questions. I expect that BBC Question Time will be calling on him soon too.'
samanthaasumadu.substack.com
'In answer to Jones’ question I decided that no, Polanski would not be made persona non-grata by the UK media, because he consistently and I think objectively makes good TV. Plus he seems to say yes to every invite.' 3/5

'Owen Jones, (not that one) posed an intriguing question recently. He said,

“Wonder if the UK media will give Zack Polanski as much airtime as Nigel Farage, (Farage has been on BBC Question Time, 39 times) 1/5

Even my regular go-to law whisperer @joshuarozenberg.bsky.social hasn't managed to explain or demystify the Chinese spy thing for me. He's written about it 2 days in a row, and it's no more clearer why they were charged last year or why the charges were dropped

I felt like this was quite big news, but have not seen anyone talking about it. Or actually even any articles being shared about it. Weird. Has the Me too movement totally moved on? Aren't their funded organisations who work on this area of law and women's rights?
