I swear to God this is true: I encountered this man while waiting behind him in line at a Cold Stone Creamery in Tempe, Arizona in September 2004. It stuck out to me at the time because I observed him very obviously lying to the person behind the counter by claiming he'd never heard of Oreos before.

I'm not sure what you mean by *more* tech evangelism, which in 2025 I am inclined to view as a force for evil, which is kind of the problem. Like they had literal evangelists Kara Swisher and GaryVee make cameos and that made me feel... despondent

CBS News 24/7 (fka CBSN) has viewership atomized across platforms including web & OTT apps. YouTube numbers are just a fraction of the livestream reach. And cable nets have vanishingly small daytime viewership numbers as well. Need comps to really judge.

I went to the chuds-only screening, apparently (Dolby 3D at Burbank 16) and the guy in his late 40s next to me asked me if I liked it. I hesitated for a long while and said no, and he retorted that he loved it.
