On revealing this £900 purchase:
- Gohan is the face your confused coworkers pull
- Supreme Kai is the face your wife pulls
- Goku is the face your best friend pulls

(No, I did not buy it.)

PSA: If you want the remaster of Yakuza 3 and not the remake, Kiwami 3, then buy it before it's delisted.

This frustrates me, because there's a huge difference between a remaster and a remake. Kiwami 1 and 2 are significantly different to their originals. Both versions should remain available.
If you want Yakuza 3 Remastered after it's delisted on February 12, you need to buy the Yakuza Complete Series Bundle, which costs £114.99/$129.99 (though it can go on sale). Even on Steam, you will need to pay the full cost even if you own some of the games the package.

NEW VIDEO ALERT:
230 games came out on Steam the first week of 2026. I looked at every page to see what I could learn about the state of Steam. It made me feel like I was dying.

Posting some older art here that previously only existed on those "other" sites that we don't talk about anymore. 🧵

Went into the physical office for a team meeting yesterday.
- Slipped on the ice and fell hard at the station
- Trains were chaos, lots of delays and cancellations due to a points failure
- Great to see the team, but I applied social masking

I am slow, tired and sore today in so many ways.

We finished watching the dub of Let's Play last night. An indie game developer has her game streamed by a popular YouTuber. He doesn't like it and his audience review bomb the game. Turns out, streamer's her new neighbour. Decent cozy watch. Little predictable, unlikely to win any awards, but cozy.

Next time I have to buy a TV I am going to get a stupid one instead of a smart one. Because my fucking god are these televisions obnoxious. I don't know why ours has this garbage ass function where it recognises that a game system is connected and changes all settings to shit I don't fucking want.

Given my day job of 11 years is creating digital training materials, I should make a video about tutorials in games. What works, what doesn't, with examples and culminating in a list of best practices. A longer form project needing capture from multiple games, but an interesting one to chip away at.

I've been an Instructional Designer for 11 years. Training conveys skills and knowledge, but has limited influence over what people do with those abilities. Training doesn't fix a toxic culture, skewed value systems or a lack of morality.
The problem with ICE is not insufficient training or even training content.

It’s creating an agency where you give people guns and tell them to terrorize Brown people and then recruit people excited to do that.

In 1998, the (bad) Italian movie Cucciolo somehow managed to do something important: they shot quite a long sequence in the now-defunct SegaWorld London, located inside the London Trocadero. The park opened in 1996 and closed in 1999.
Here is the entire sequence.

If true, I'm out. Even in an autism-friendly screening, it would need an intermission or two.

Also, there is such a thing as too much. When I see a movie with a long runtime, I wonder how much bloat and padding there is. I usually come away from long films thinking half of it could have been cut.
