Good news, I have now undone most of One Drive's damage. Yesterday, I had to relink a bunch of assets, prefabs and scripts. I also had to more-or-less redo the UI. This morning, I've restored local co op play. I'm making an immediate local back up.

(Also, yes, I need to change the Unity version due to the security vulnerabilities Unity recently told us about. Let me get the project back in a playable state after One Drive's fuckery, back it up and then I'll update it to Unity 6.)

Do *not* have your game's project files in a One Drive folder!

Went to work on Crisis Island but the project would only load in Safe Mode. One Drive had been trying to sync the project between my PC and laptop, duplicating, reverting and deleting critical files!

I'm spending hours fixing it now!

Unity stating my project has compilation errors.

999+ amber warnings and 2 red critical errors in Unity's Console.

149 files that were duplicated with LAPTOP appended to their filename by One Drive.

Since March, I've dropped from 14st 7lb (203lb, 92kg) to, rounding up, 13st 3lb (185lb, 83.9kg). Just 3lb to go to reach my goal!

Turns out, the secret is diet and exercise. Who knew?
