#SciFiHour Am about whilst my PC stays up. My #SciFi this week is reading a Stanisław Lem collection & as the Gov is going full 1984 Newspeak trying to provoke a #CivilWar I have downloaded a 100GB copy of wiki & the current 60K #Gutenberg collection so when society breaks down I won't be bored😜

(sigh) Once upon a time you could have called Terry Pratchett with this, and he would not only have had an immediate answer to the first question, but a *really good idea* on how to manage the second. (Which would then have turned up at some point in a novel.) (sighs some more) #GNUTerryPratchett

#SciFiHour I forgot to mention one bit of #SciFi news maybe #SciFiChat might also like is that I have seen that progress is being made on "Hail Mary" movie so seems it is out of development hell & should be here next year IIRC
