Last week, Austin PD called ICE to turn in a woman from Honduras and her US-born 5 year-old daughter.
They only knew about them because the woman called 911 for help with a domestic disturbance. She needed help and they handed her over to ICE.
The police don’t care about protecting you.

I keep seeing people asking why the police aren't arresting ICE or protecting people from ICE and I desperately need you to understand that the police aren't protecting you from ICE because protecting YOU is not and never has been their function and that's why we need to defund them.

We're so cooked societally with the idea that male sexuality is in itself a threat. Love of power is a threat, love of hierarchy is a threat, love of violence is a threat, and the kyriarchy has entangled this with sexuality. But a guy being turned on is not a problem for anyone in and of itself.
