ICE watch has been life-changing: “I feel like our whole lives as Minnesotans...it’s always kind of like, ‘Don’t even start that kind of thing because you have to live around these people. I feel that’s gone in me personally — I don’t even care if I ruffle feathers.” www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...

EXECUTIVE BRANCH JUDGES DO NOT ISSUE JUDICIAL WARRANTS

LITERALLY CANNOT, IT IS NOT IN THE ENABLING ACT

I have also learned that executive branch judges do not have inherent contempt powers. So if an executive branch judge issues an unlawful warrant... they can't punish you for not complying either

I feel like it should probably be a bigger story that the justice department just released potentially dozens of unredacted CSAM photos with the faces of the victims visible

Breaking on MS NOW:

Career DOJ prosecutors in both Minnesota and Los Angeles refused to be involved in charging Don Lemon and the other journalists who covered the Minneapolis church protests.

The prosecutors believe the evidence does not support the charges, per @carolleonnig.bsky.social.

Yeah okay we arrest journalists now, we deport people for having opinions, we shoot you for legally carrying, we imprison you without due process off our own soil at one of the cruelest places on the planet. WHAT IS NEXT? Does anyone have the third amendment on their bingo card?

This is required watching at my work and I honestly love that for us. It's very hard. But it's important.

Hey Critters!

As a quick note, our usual 9AM PT rebroadcast will be postponed this Friday, January 30th, so that everyone at Critical Role has the option to participate in the Nationwide General Strike in response to the ongoing brutality seen across our country, but especially in Minneapolis.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

ICE executed Alex Pretti. Anything else you’re told is a lie.
UPDATE: @dropsitenews.com has obtained the very graphic video from the lady in the pink coat, which shows ICE executing yet another person in broad daylight:

What a fun exhibit for that criminal contempt proceeding.
The White House doesn’t care about Garcia’s legal status because they’re not enforcing immigration law—they’re conducting ethnic cleansing.

They can’t justify their actions legally, but they don’t think they need to.

Consistently impressed watching Daredevil: Born Again. The production is just... good. I was suffering serious Marvel fatigue (and anyone who knew me 10 years ago wouldn't have thought it possible). I feel completely absorbed whem watching in a way that does not often happen lately. Good shit.

Absolutely ludicrous to conclude that what the game needed was live service or that they should fire the devs for doing a perfectly fine job. This industry cuts off its nose to spite its face on the regular. Which is unfortunately a microcosmic metaphor for most corporate decision making.

Finished Veilguard playthrough. Satisfying in many ways. It is unfortunate that the weakest writing is in the first third of the game. Imo needed one more pass with rewrites is all. I feel like Rook's CG and background was integrated into my story very well and I liked the execution of that a lot.

You use the officials USGovt secure channels to hide communications from bad actors. You use Signal to hide communications from the USGovt.
As I explain here, security isn't even the biggest part of the Signal Scandal. This is to keep actions secret from the US government. It's how to do crimes, bribes and more. talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/signa...
