This year I was emotionally abused by a romantic partner who talked to me in a way that made me feel sexually violated. Strictly speaking I never said no to her. But there were power dynamics at play and my consent would often be assumed. (1/13)

I know Mario is barely a real character in the games but I really hate Illumination's interpretation of him as being kind of a snarky jackass. I really think Mario needs to be like Superman or Captain America where he's got just an unshakeable sense of optimism.

I can't believe you can't play Kirby Air Riders splitscreen online. I can see the logic in not wanting friends to gang up on randos, but you can't even do it in paddocks.

I was really interested in Road Trip mode in Kirby Air Riders when I thought it was a roguelike mode, and I'm really disappointed by what it actually is (and even more disappointed at what it takes to get the unlocks it gatekeeps)

I think Mario Kart World has some fuckin problems, but the way people criticize it makes it sound like the game killed their dog or something and I'm so exhausted at how the idea of The Discourse has permeated through our culture.
