You're not. They tell us to get fit and then put every conceivable obstacle in the way. Have you tried buying a plus sized swimsuit to train in? Good God, flimsy straps, no bust support, hungry bum, and $200. Its so disheartening.

TLDR - no snot colour doesnt determine viral vs bacterial. Yellow and green can be caused by both. Best differentiator i can think of for when it may be time to book doc appointment? Whether you are improving on day 4 or not. If no better by appt on D5-6 then antibiotics might be considered by doc

I've just read the latest Ellie Marney - 3rd in the NONE SHALL SLEEP series. Haven't read a lot of good crime. Lots of ok, but nothing really, really good for a while. I jump around from horror to contemporary fiction to crime to nonfiction... I'm always reading.

Sad to hear that Raymond Hawthorne has died. Such an important part of NZ theatre history - he dedicated his life to the arts. (Not to mention being the patriarch of one of our great theatre families.) My condolences to Elizabeth, Emmeline, the rest of his family, friends and colleagues.

She's been resistant to classes which is frustrating. I've been teaching her stuff slowly. She can send and get photos now. Can text. Make and receive calls but that's about it. She probably hangs up on me at least once a week about it... 😬

A quick “hello to new followers” intro post:

I’m purpurina, I do stitchy things and I write sometimes. This past year a lot of my creative energy has gone into horror/sci-fi audiodrama @observableradio.com (check us out!!)

Here are some of my horror stitches:
