The one thing I’ve learned under Trump 2.0 is the GOP really, truly believes their voters can’t math.

I’m not attesting to whether or not they’re right, I’m just saying they publicly insult their voters’ intelligence on a daily basis with this kind of shit.
EXCLUSIVE: Newly uncovered audio reviewed by MeidasTouch captures PA GOP gubernatorial candidate Stacy Garrity claiming anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis were “paid protestors,” saying “they all look the same” and protests are “very well coordinated.”

Last night, there was attempted arson at Renee Good’s memorial at 33rd and Portland with gasoline being poured on the fence, near the front yard of the house, and throughout the memorial. This is despicable. 1/

Hassett on new study from NY Fed showing 90% of tariff burden is being shouldered by US firms & consumers: "The paper is an embarrassment. It's I think the worst paper I've ever seen in the history of the Fed system. The people associated with this paper should presumably be disciplined."

He destroyed our economy and everyone knows it.

Whatever he or his voters would like to believe about what he did, the numbers do not lie.

We are seeing the worst job growth in over two decades and it is explicitly tied to bad decisions he made and then lied about.

He's pathetic.

ICE officials knew use of force was rising well before Minneapolis shootings
Internal agency emails show a surge in reports of ICE officers using more force going back nearly a year, but DHS leadership did not see it as a concern to be addressed.

Homan thinks this is an argument for masks.

It's actually a deep admission of the fundamental moral failing at the base of their lawless actions.

Unapologetically pro-democracy.
Put me in “the database,” assholes.
Abolish ICE.
Dismantle CBP.
Impeach Noem.
Tom Homan is a bitch.
Greg Bovino is a little bitch.
There will be trials.
Subpoena that.

What, prey tell, was the government “cracking down” on? It’s curious, indeed.
The Trump administration has announced the end of a massive immigration crackdown in Minnesota after two and a half protest-filled months, 4,000 arrests and two fatal shootings by immigration officers. https://to.pbs.org/4ty84tO
A timeline of Trump's immigration crackdown in Minnesota
Here's a look at some key moments during Operation Metro Surge, which the Department of Homeland Security called the “largest immigration enforcement operation ever.”

These statements further detail the widespread government retaliation and violence communities are facing for exercising their First Amendment rights.

Wow. They lied. Color me shocked. 💅🏼

(snark not directed at Aaron 😎)
WOW. Incredible. This is the case in which DHS claimed that ICE officers had been attacked with a shovel and fired back in self-defense. Evidence since suggests an ICE officer fired through a closed door and struck someone on the other side.

Will DHS retract the prior claims?

Moving fast and breaking things didn’t freak everyone out at first because we are a HUGE country with an ENORMOUS economy and everything they did took time to manifest. The pain is here now, though, for nearly everyone, and a few TACO tariffs won’t reverse the damage before midterms.

Operation Metro Surge ending? Key word there is “metro”. The FAFO crowd may be tempted to chime in, but my experience in rural MN is it doesn’t matter what horrible Dem candidate they put forth, they’ll get 25-33% of the vote. There are plenty of rural people in harms way who did not vote for this.
"It’s not hard to see why ICE has expanded its reach beyond the Twin Cities. The qualities that have hindered ICE’s operation in Minneapolis and St. Paul — density and walkability; a large, almost exclusively left-of-center population — are absent here."
www.theverge.com/policy/87871...
The same day DHS announced the surge would end in Minnesota, ICE activity increased in small towns
The less densely populated areas outside the Twin Cities make it harder for protesters and observers to organize.

Yep. This will have a huge impact on the availability of habeas for people who are still being arrested in Minnesota.
In other words, long enough that habeas petitions can be filed on their behalf in Minnesota before they're whisked off to an immigration detention facility somewhere in the Fifth Circuit (where, under that court's current law, they wouldn't be eligible for a bond hearing).
Incredibly powerful opinion chronicling the awfulness in Whipple and the ways it interfered with the right to counsel.

One key part of the ruling (that ICE will likely appeal ASAP); Judge Brasel bars ICE from transferring anyone out of Minnesota within 72 hours of arrest.

It’s the exact thing someone might say to deflate Dem opposition to the DHS funding bill.
This is all performative bullshit.

Believe it when you don't see ICE in Minneapolis/Saint Paul anymore.
Homan: "Operation Metro Surge is ending. In the next week, we're going to deploy the officers here on detail back to their home stations or to other areas of the country where they're needed."
