I love Maomao as a protagonist for so many reasons but one of them is that she just genuinely likes and feels comfortable around women. I feel that many historical fiction pieces set in a patriarchal society with a female protagonist who goes against the expectations of her gender and station

one of the most mind numbing aspects of the epstein files is that this implicates so many people and feels like there needs to be massive consequences yet it feels underdiscussed. how is everyone not talking about all of this all the time
