A reminder with the Challenger anniversary tomorrow that yes, a generation of us saw this happening when we were in school.
The Challenger explosion was exactly one month before my 6th birthday and one of my earliest memories.
We watched it on a TV in one of the first grade classrooms because that teacher led a space program at our elementary school.

My first iPhone 17 Pro case sacrificed itself saving my phone, so I splurged on the PopSockets one.
Super freak accident. The wind snatched my phone out of my hand and the fall destroyed the volume buttons.
This was the case I originally wanted anyhow.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

So we're halfway through January, which means it's the perfect time for me to post some of my favorite photos for 2025. Most of these I shot for work. I love my job, and it's really hard to pick favorites. I also shot a concert for a good friend and visited Montreal and had other adventures.

If we can sell between 5,000 and 10,000 copies of OMENS OF CHAOS, we will debut comfortably on the New York Times Bestseller list, which is a very normal thing for a book to want (and will send a very clear message about what we want as a community). We won't, but a girl can dream.
